His can-do-more attitude brought about an intellectual revolution that has transformed the social, educational, economic and cultural life of rural Maharashtra. Shri. Dattaji Meghe the founder of Shri Vidyarthi Sudhar Sangh is in active public life for more than 40 years. He represented the people of Maharashtra in Lok-Sabha for 03 consecutive terms. He strongly believes that only Quality Education and Health can bring about true transformation of the huge human resource of our Nation.

Forty Eight years back a small step was taken by starting a polytechnic college, today there are more than seven sister umbrellas shouldering the expanse of about 35 educational institutes delivering education from KG to Ph.D. in different professional and non-professional courses under one brand of Meghe Group of Institutes (MGI). He lives the dreams of his mother to reach the quality education to the common people’s doorstep.
